Description |
English: A two-story terra cotta brick house shows signs of damage such as missing window frames and collapsed porch. Many of the structures that were built by the Standard Lime and Stone Company to house their workers are still standing. The company houses became obsolete in the 1950s, partially due to modern transportation and communication devices that allowed workers to live away from the work site. This structure, part of the Housing Cluster Site A, is composed of terracotta brick and shows signs of structural damage in the form of missing window frames, sashes, and the collapsed porch.
