Description
Deutsch: Comitat vor dem Universitätsreitstall in Göttingen. Stammbuchblatt aus dem Jahre 1765. Anmerkung: Dieses in der Literatur als Comitat beschriebene Stammbuchblatt ist nach Reitrichtung und Gebäuden, dem Reitstall an der Weender Straße, eigentlich eine feierliche Einholung, also das Gegenteil. Jedoch sind Ablauf und Formation im Wesentlichen gleich. Dargestellt ist vermutlich die Einholung durch die Studentenschaft beim Besuch des Herzogs von York am 22. August 1765 in Göttingen. Siehe auch den Bericht des Seniors der Hannoverschen Landsmannschaft Ernst Ludwig Julius von Lenthe über den Ablauf nebst Liste der Teilnehmer in der Handschriftenabteilung der SUB Göttingen.
