Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Every pixel in the top image has had its lightness increased to the maximum extent possible while retaining the same hue and saturation. The original image is at the bottom. In the HSV colour model, every pixel in the top image has V=1, while H and S are the same as in the corresponding pixel of the bottom image. This enables us to see the colours (hue and saturation) present in the original image without being distracted by variations in light and shade.
