English: Colophon page from the manuscript of Gulistan of Sa‘di. Painting attributed to Basawan and Manohar, calligraphy by Muhammad Husayn Zarin Qalam. Parchment, ink and paint. 31.3 x 19.5 cm. Persian, nastaliq script. Fatehpur Sikri 1582-1583 (990 AH).

Painting depicts painter Manohar and the calligrapher Muhammad Husayn Zarin Qalam seated opposite one another. They are identified by the text of two letters they are shown writing.
