Nederlands: Pop. Pop in klederdracht van Aruba. De pop draagt een hemd van witte katoen; broek van witte katoen met halflange pijpen, met een kantje; wijde onderrok van witte katoen, versierd met vier witte kantjes; jakje van witte katoen met lange mouwen, versierd met een kantje en gesloten met zwarte knoopjes; heel wijde katoenen rok, wit met in zwart gedrukte achthoeken en kleine vierhoekjes en sterretjes. Op het hoofd een hoofddoek van katoen, geborduurd met kleurige bloemetjes. Daarbij nog een andere, grote zwarte zijden hoofddoek met franje. Dichtgevouwen wordt de doek om het hoofd gedragen, zodat de andere hoofddoek nog net zichtbaar is. De slippen worden voor het lichaam gekruist en met spelden vastgezet.
Aan de voeten sloffen van bruin zeildoek. De pop is gekleed voor de zondagse kerkgang, want ze draagt over haar kleurige hoofddoek de zwart zijden hoofddoek. |
