'Olieproductie in de Pamoesian olievelden op Tarakan-eiland wordt hervat, 28 juni 1945' -VERVOLG VAN TITEL- A 12888 PAMOESIAN OILFIELDS, TARAKAN ISLAND, RESUME PRODUCTION. After being out of operation for two months, the Pamoesian oilfields near Tarakan township on Tarakan Island, resumed production on Thursday, June 28 1945, when Brigadier D.A. Whitehead, Commander of the Australian Imperial Force on Tarakan officially opened the Netherlands Indies Militairy Oil Rehabilitation Service. The oilfields, which produced six million of bunker fuel per year in pre-war days, were destroyed by the Japanese a few days before the Allied landing on the Island on April 30, 1945. The oil can be run direct to ships without refining. Photo shows: Warrant Officer J. van Willigen, R.N.I.A., from Den Helder, North Holland, with some NICAboys, examining the 'fish' in Well No. 371 on the Pamoesian Oilfields. By means of the 'fish': broken or damaged sections of piping are removed from the well for replacing new piping. Setelah tidak beroperasi selama dua bulan, ladang minyak Pamusian di dekat kotapraja Tarakan di Pulau Tarakan, kembali berproduksi pada hari Kamis, 28 Juni 1945, ketika Brigadir D.A. Whitehead, Komandan Pasukan Kekaisaran Australia di Tarakan secara resmi membuka Layanan Rehabilitasi Minyak Militer Hindia Belanda.
