'
-VERVOLG VAN TITEL- Palembang. In de hal van het Charitas hospitaal werd op 26 aug. 1948 een korte plechtigheid gehouden. De liaisonofficier van het Britse Consulaat Generaal te Batavia, de Lieut-Kol. Phijs (?) onthulde een bronzen plaquette van de Britse regering namens de Britse Land-, Zee- en Luchtstrijdkrachten voor hetgeen de 'Charitas Convent School' voor de Britse krijgsgevangenen in 1942 en 1943 heeft gedaan. De genodigden tijdens de rede van Pastoor-provicaris Hermelink. V.L.N.R. Pastoor-provicaris Hermelink; mr. Wijnmaaker, ...... ? van Zuid Sumatra, moeder-overste Alacoqua en majoor Scharenberg, Plaatselijk Militair Commandant.

-LANJUTAN DARI JUDUL- Palembang. Upacara singkat diadakan pada tanggal 26 Agustus 1948 di aula rumah sakit Charitas. Petugas penghubung Konsulat Jenderal Inggris di Batavia, Letnan Kol. Phijs (?) meluncurkan plakat perunggu Pemerintah Inggris atas nama Angkatan Darat, Angkatan Laut dan Udara Inggris atas apa yang dilakukan Sekolah Biara Charitas untuk tawanan perang Inggris pada tahun 1942 dan 1943. Para tamu saat pidato Pendeta-provikar Hermelink.
