Nederlands: Overhemd
'Mannenoverhemd met dunne ranken met blaadjes en dubbele vleugelmotieven' Zwarte blouse met motieven in oranje, mosterdgeel, crème en wit. De achtergrond bestaat uit fijne ranken met blaadjes, met daar overheen grote mirong. Mirong (twee grote, in het midden aaneengesloten vleugels), is een motief dat de garuda representeert. Garuda is een half-vogel, half-mensachtig wezen. Volgens de Indo-Javaanse mythologie droeg Garuda Vishnu door de hemel. De Garuda is een oud koninklijk symbool (Heringa, 1996:171; McCabe Elliot, 1984:68; van Roojen, 1998:69-73). Deze Indonesische (dus na de onafhankelijkheid) blouse was een geschenk van Ali Sadikin, en wordt gedragen door alle culturele groepen. ca. 1975 Afmetingen van het werk: [N.B.] Bahasa Indonesia: 'Kemeja pria motif daun tipis dan sayap ganda' Kemeja hitam dengan motif jingga, kuning sawi, krem, dan putih. Latarnya terdiri dari sulur halus dengan daun, dengan mirong besar di atasnya. Mirong (dua sayap besar yang disambungkan di tengah) adalah motif yang melambangkan garuda. Garuda adalah makhluk setengah burung, setengah manusia. Menurut mitologi Indo-Jawa, Garuda membawa Wisnu melalui langit. Garuda adalah lambang kerajaan kuno (Heringa, 1996:171; McCabe Elliot, 1984:68; van Roojen, 1998:69-73). Baju Indonesia (pasca kemerdekaan) ini adalah pemberian dari Ali Sadikin, dan dikenakan oleh semua kelompok budaya. |
