Polski: Serce układu do chłodzenia i pułapkowania atomów. W centrum zdjęcia widać szklaną komorę próżniową, a w niej (tutaj - w kolorze żółto-pomarańczowym) chmurę 10 milionów atomów rubidu o temperaturze 30 mikrokelwinów. Przy komorze są zainstalowane cewki generujące kwadrupolowe pole magnetyczne. English: Main part of the setup for cooling and trapping of atoms. In the center of the image one can see a glass vacuum chamber with a yellow-orange cloud of 10 million atoms at a temperature of 30 microkelvins. Next to the chamber there are coils generating a quadrupole magnetic field. |
