| Description | Perhaps this doesn't look like much, especially half-hidden by the rain, but this city is The Happening Place down here in southern Patagonian Chile. It is pronounced "Coy-Eye-Kay", only with a very rapid cadence so that it comes off a bit more like "crikey". (It's taken me weeks to learn how to pronounce it sufficiently well that Chileans could understand which town I was referring to!) |
