Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Cogden Beach Looking southeast along Cogden Beach, one of the upper parts of Chesil Bank (where is it still connected with the mainland on the landward side). There is a smooth increase in pebble size as you go further towards Portland along the beach - here the pebbles are small (sub-centimetre) and very difficult to walk on. When the tide is out it is easier to walk on the sandier level where the waves are breaking. |
