Deutsch: Eine männliche Hufeisen-Azurjungfer (Coenagrion puella) im Ahlenmoor, nördliches Niedersachsen. Hier ein atypisches, blass gezeichnetes Exemplar. Beachte die Zeichnung des zweiten Abdominalsegments, die an die Zeichnung der Speer-Azurjungfer (Coenagrion hastulatum) erinnert, während C. puella gewöhnlich eine U-förmige Zeichnung besitzt. Die Zeichnung des dritten Segments zeigt zwei untypische helle symmetrische Flecken, auch fehlen die gewöhnlich von dieser Zeichnung ausstrahlenden feinen Linien der Seitenflächen. Auf dem neunten Segment sind die üblicherweise beidseits ausgebildeten schwarzen Flecken nicht vorhanden.
English: A male of the Azure Damselfly (Coenagrion puella) in the Ahlenmoor, a peatland in northern Lower Saxony, Germany. This is an remarkable, pale marked specimen. Note the drawing of the second abdominal segment, which recalls the drawing of the Northern Damselfly (Coenagrion hastulatum), while that of C. puella is usually U-shaped. The drawing of the third segment shows two unusual symmetrical bright spots and also lack the finely drawn lines of the side surfaces, which usual radiating from this drawing. At the ninth segment the usually formed black spots on both sides are not present.
