Examples of long-term warming trend visualizations for different territorial scales (one band = annual average temperature for the location), with the 1st data available until the time the graph was produced.

Summary[edit]

Description
Français : Exemples de visualisations de tendance au réchauffement à long terme pour des échelles territoriales différentes (une bande = température moyenne annuelle pour le lieu), avec les premières données disponibles jusqu'au moment de la réalisation du graphique.
1)Températures annuelles au centre de l'Angleterre de 1772 à 2017 une échelle colorée de 7,6°C (bleu foncé) à 10,8°C (rouge foncé) [1] ;
2) Températures annuelles pour les États-Unis contigus de 1895 à 2017 (de 50,2°F (bleu foncé) à 55,0°F (rouge foncé) [2] ;
3) Températures annuelles à Toronto de 1841 à 2017 (de 5,5°C (bleu foncé) à 11,0°C (rouge foncé) [3]
4) Températures mondiales annuelles de 1850 à 2017 (l'échelle colorée couvre 1,35°C [4]. Source des graphiques (CC-BY-SA 4.0) :le climatologue Ed Hawkins (GIEC...) http://www.climate-lab-book.ac.uk/2018/warming-stripes/
English: Warming stripes : A new set of climate visualisations, communicating the long term rise in temperatures for particular locations as a changing set of colours from blue to red. Each stripe represents the temperature of a single year, ordered from the earliest available data to now.
1) Annual temperatures in central England from 1772-2017 [The colour scale goes from 7.6°C (dark blue) to 10.8°C (dark red)]
2) Annual temperatures for the contiguous USA from 1895-2017 [The colour scale goes from 50.2°F (dark blue) to 55.0°F (dark red)] ;
3) Annual temperatures in Toronto from 1841-2017 [The colour scale goes from 5.5°C (dark blue) to 11.0°C (dark red) ] ;
Annual global temperatures from 1850-2017 [The colour scale represents the change in global temperatures covering 1.35°C]
