Blasón: De azur, volcán de oro, acostado de una mazorca de maíz de oro hojada de sinople en barra a la diestra y un fruto de cacao de oro en banda a la siniestra, el volcán cargado con el contorno del término estatal de Chiapas de sinople y cargado a su vez con el contorno del término municipal de Tapachula de oro, acostado de dos semillas de café de gules colocadas en banda a la diestra y un nopal de sinople a la siniestra; entado en punta, fajado ondeado de azur y plata; filiera cocida de gules. Grito de guerra: "Tapachula".
