Description
English: Coat of arms of Félix Biet and Pierre-Philippe Giraudeau, Apostolic Vicars of Tibet. Image from Armorial des prélats français du XIXe siècle by Aymar de Saint-Saud, published in 1906 by H. Daragon. The lion and the rooster are taken from the arms of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647–1690) from who Biet descended. In addition he placed the Sacred Heart in the centre of the shield. Motto: Suaviter et fortiter (Biet); Laborat sicut bonus miles Christi (Giraudeau). See also "Catholic Church in Tibet" and "Catholic Church in Sichuan".
