Герб состоит из трёх частей:

  • Слева вверху изображены крест и буква «М», символизирующие Христа и Деву Марию.
  • Справа вверху – рыба и ключ. Эти символы были изображены на гербе покойного Ординария Епархии Дрезден-Майссен (родной Епархии Епископа Клеменса Пиккеля) Герхарда Шафрана, служившего во время второй мировой войны священником среди немецких солдат в России, а после войны добровольно оставшегося ещё на 5 лет с пленными.
  • Внизу — лилия, часто изображавшаяся на иконах и статуях святых, как символ чистоты. Здесь она символизирует все добродетели, совершенствоваться в которых – значит выйти Христу навстречу.
Девиз епископа «Veni Domine Iesu» — «Гряди Господи Иисусе» (Ин 20, 22).
