Español: Escudo del infante Carlos de Borbón y Farnesio (1716-1788) como rey de Nápoles y Sicilia, 1731-1735 (Carlos VII / V) Armerías adoptadas en 1736 En 1732 [el futuro Carlos III] adquiere el reino de Nápoles y seguidamente renuncia al Ducado de Parma; cuatro años más tarde recibe del Papa la investidura de Sicilia y el Reino de Jerusalén. Rodeando las [armas] de Felipe V del modo siguiente: a la diestra las correspondientes al Ducado de Parma y en las que se suprime el ombrerillo papal (...) un partido de Portugal, Farnesio, Austria y Borgoña cortado de otro terciado Austria, Borgoña y Farnesio; sobre el todo Portugal.
