Description
Español: Este blasón, el segundo que ostentó la ciudad tampoco perduró en el tiempo tal como fue creado dado que hacia 1744 al confeccionarse un nuevo dosel en el que figuraron las armas de la ciudad, las mismas se componen de las armas de España, adornadas con la Orden del Toisón de Oro y pendiendo de esta un blasón de nuestra ciudad de similares características al de 1649 aunque en su bordura aparece la leyenda: “LA MUI NOBLE Y LEAL CIVDAD DE LA SANTISIMA TRINIDAD Y PVERTO DE SANTA MARIA DE BVENOS AYRES”. Sucede pues que por Real Cédula del 5 de octubre de 1716 nuestra ciudad fue distinguida con los títulos de “Muy Noble y Muy Leal”, lo cual explica este agregado en la simbología empleada en 1744.
