Description
English: The Greater coat of arms of Their Imperial Highnesses, Their Highnesses and Their Serene Highnesses Princes Romanovsky, the Dukes of Leuchtenberg (1852 – 1974), after the 8th december 1856 decree (n°31720 in the 1906 collection of imperial laws).
Français : Le grand blason de Leurs Altesses impériales, Leurs Altesses et Leurs Altesses sérénissimes les princes Romanovski, les ducs de Leuchtenberg (1852 – 1974), descendance légitime de Maximilien de Beauharnais et de Marie Nicolaievna de Russie.
Blasonnement : Un écu d'or à l'aigle impériale de Russie, chargée d'un écusson écartelé de Leuchtenberg (1 et 4), de sinople à l'épée haute d'argent garnie d'or et à plusieurs (sept) étoiles à six branches du dernier, et en 3 de Beauharnais, un écusson de gueules au chiffre couronné de Nicolas Ier de Russie d'or brochant sur le tout. L'écu, entouré du collier de l'ordre du saint apôtre André le premier appelé et sommé du casque du saint prince Alexandre Newski est tenu par deux griffons d'or sous un manteau de toile d'or semée de petites aigles impériales, doublé d'hermine et sommé de la petite courone impériale.

“ § 15. Большой герб Их Императорских Высочеств, Их Высочеств и Их Светлостей Князей Романовских есть золотой двоеглавый Российский орел, имеющий на груди щит четверочастный с малым в середине щитом. В первой и четвертой частях, серебряных, лазуревый пояс. Во второй части, зеленой, серебряный меч: эфес золотой, верх меча окружен шестью золотыми звездами. В третьей части, на серебряном поле, черный пояс, над ним три черные птицы. В малом щите, на золотом поле, червленый, увенчанный червленою ж короною, вензель Государя Императора Николая I (H), на щите Герцогская корона. Главный щит увенчан шлемом Святого Великого Князя Александра Невского; вокруг цепь ордена Святого Апостола Андрея Первозванного, намет золотой и черный; щитодержателями два золотые грифа с червлеными глазами и языками. Вместо Императорской сени золотая мантия, усеянная Российскими двоеглавыми орлами, подложенная горностаем; над нею Императорская корона.

§ 16. Малый герб Их Императорских Высочеств, Их Высочеств и Их Светлостей Князей Романовских есть тот же, как Их большой герб, только без щитодержателей и мантии. Нашлемник есть возникающий двоеглавый Российский орел, имеющий на груди золотой щит с червленым, под такою же короною, вензелем Государя Императора Николая I (Н).
