Description
Deutsch: Kohlendioxidgehalt in der Luft während der letzten 417.000 Jahre (kya = one thousand years ago = vor 1000 Jahren, d.h. heute ist Null ganz rechts). Der blaue Teil der Kurve wurde anhand von Daten eines Bohrkerns der Wostok-Station berechnet. Der rote Teil verbindet mit einer Geraden den jüngsten Wert dieser Daten (2,342 kya) mit dem im Jahre 2014 (= 0,0 kya) erreichten Maximum der Keeling-Kurve.
English: Atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration during the past 417,000 years (kya = one thousand years ago; i.e., present is at zero, right-hand side). The blue part of the curve is generated from data of the Vostok ice core. The red part is a straight line between the most recent value from the Vostok ice core (2.342 kya) and the maximum value from the Keeling Curve (2014 = 0.0 kya).
