English: On 22 April we celebrated the 50th Earth Day, the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. The theme of Earth Day 2020 was climate action. Climate change represents the biggest challenge to the future of humanity and the life-support systems that make our world habitable. This image of central Europe celebrates this important day: it is a false colour mosaic obtained using Copernicus Sentinel-2 acquisitions between January and April 2020.

  3. Where that data or information has been adapted or modified, the user shall clearly state this.

GMES dedicated data and GMES service information are provided to users without any express or implied warranty, including as regards quality and suitability for any purpose.
