Description
English: An incomplete cast lead four part cloth seal of Post-Medieval date. Only one disc and part of the connecting strip survive, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.

It is flat and circular and bears a crowned lion passant, with 1½ below, within an inner circular. The connecting strip is flat and rectangular.

This cloth seal measures 11.59mm in diameter at the disc, 18.81mm in overall length, 7.87mm in length at the connecting strip, 4.26mm in width at the connecting strip, 1.28mm in thickness, 1.16g in weight.

There are similar seals recorded by Egan (Egan, 1995, p. 62-63, no, 133, 136-138).
