Title
cloth seal
Description
English: A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, dating to 1635.

This is a four disc seal the interconnecting strip is broken but the seal is held together by a lead 'split pin'. On one of the first discs is the date 1635 either side of a fleur-de-lys. The second disc is a symbol/privy mark; "F".

Geoff Egan confirms this as an Alnage official seal.
