| Description |
English: Climbing on Trollers Gill The main (west) wall of the gill is very steep and most of the routes are now bolt-protected. The climber here is on "The Jim Grin" (sport grade 7a). The big obvious cleft is not bolted (ie is a "trad" route) and funnily enough is called "The Big Crack" - "A classic of its type, steep, strenuous and awkward; but fun if you like that sort of thing". Its grade is HVS 5a. I will return! |
