Description

A Great Western Railway high speed train (HST) is seen working the 1Z29 0833 London Marylebone to Swansea service on 27th December 2015, and is about to pass over the level crossing near Clawdd Coch, on the line between Cardiff and Newport. Power car 43009 is at the front, with 43153 on the rear. The train had originated at Marylebone due to engineering works between Paddington and Slough. Having travelled to Oxford (with a station call and reversal at Banbury) the train then called at its normal booked stop at Swindon.
