English: City of London Cemetery Gates. The gates to the cemetery have just be cleaned and refurbished. The cemetery was opened in 1856 on the site of the former Aldersbrook Farm to provide burial space needed as the cemeteries in the City of London were almost full. The cemetery has seven other listed buildings inside the gates |
