Description

Vernal FallYosemite Valley, Yosemite National Park.

  • Le parc abrite plusieurs dizaines de chutes d'eau. C'est à la fin du printemps qu'elles sont les plus spectaculaires, lorsqu'elles sont alimentées par la fonte des neiges et des glaciers. Une dizaine de ces chutes dépassent les 200 m de hauteur. Les Yosemite Falls sont à la sixième place du classement des plus hautes chutes d'eau d'Amérique du Nord, et à la vingtième place au niveau mondial.
