Summary[edit]

Description Basic and the oldest symbol of the family Unger/Ongher from Maienbeg, Bolzano, Lans, Innsbruck, Wilten, and possibly Wien. Drawing improved after a seal owned by Chunrad Unger of Maienberg/Stiftsarchiv Wilten. The swan is found in this and other positions, without the crown and the "horn", on later Unger seals and coats of arms, sometimes in the likeness of a duck.
