Description
English: Salivary glands from D.melanogaster larvae have been isolated, stained with aceto-orcein and squashed on a microscope slide. Please note that the chromosome bands can be easily distinguished. The experiment has been performed by Nazarbayev University biology students under the supervision of Dr.Charles Gilman. The picture was taken on regular light microscope camera.
