Description
The Sverige was built by Burmeister & Wain in Copenhagen (Yard no. 263) in 1908 and delivered to the Øresund steamship company. It was used as a ferry between Copenhagen and Malmö until 1917, when it was sold to the Danish State Railways (DSB) and became the Niels Holst. Sold again in 1936 to Ångfartygs-A/B Mariehamn, Åbo, Finland and named Per Brahe. Scrapped in 1955. Source: jmarcussen.dk (in Danish).
