Summary[edit]

Description
English: Christ Episcopal Church in Matagorda, Texas, the oldest Episcopal parish in Texas, organized in 1839. The first structure was constructed in 1841, destroyed in a 1854 hurricane, and rebuilt using some of the original materials.
