English: Choir of the Abbey Church of Sainte-Marie de Fontcaude. A fire in 1577 destroyed the nave of the church leaving the transcept, apse and two apsidioles. The interior shown here is a reconstruction of the choir taken from an inventory of 1352. The two apsidioles contain chapels dedicated to Saint Lawrence (behind the chairs on the left) and to Saint Mary Magdalene (behind the chairs to the right).
Français : Choeur de l'église abbatiale Sainte-Marie de Fontcaude. Un incendie au 1577 détruit la nef de l'église laissant la transcept, l'abside et deux absidioles. L'intérieur présenté ici est une reconstruction du choeur extraite d'un inventaire de 1352. Les deux absidioles contiennent des chapelles dédiées à Saint Laurent (derrière les chaises à gauche) et à Sainte Marie Madeleine (derrière les chaises à droite). |
