Octagonal soup plate, painted with the arms of Fitler, crest, the motto 'HONOR BASIS VITAE' and monogram 'JF' (?), made c. 1760 in Jingdezhen, repaired c. 1790–1820 in England; hard-paste porcelain, painted in enamels and gilded, broken and with glass-bonded repair
