GILL'S IMPROVED DANISH BALL HEAD Our Special Strains of Cabbage Grown by Ourselves Here on Long Island GILL'S IMP. DANISH BALLHEAD op Great Dane (712) A careful grower, whom we know, has spent eight years developing this remarkable Cabbage, and he certainly has improved it very greatly. For general fam- ily and market use we honestly believe it is the best Cabbage in cultivation. People are more and more get- ting away from the large flat-headed Cabbages, which are likely to prove coarse, as well as unwieldy. Even the kraut and pickle factories demand the round-headed sorts, and this Improved Danish Ball Head is certainly the best of'them all. Heads uniform and medium in size, very solid and fine for shipping, crisp, tender and of ex- ceptionally high flavor. Season late, making it the most magnificent variety for fall and winter we have ever seen. This splendid Cabbage will give great satisfaction in the family garden, and great profit to the market grower. We call it Great Dane as we consider it much better than ordinary Ball Head. Pkt., 20c; oz., $1.00; lb., £14.00. CHARLESTON WAKEFIELD (713) A very fine and very early cone-shaped Cabbage, not so pointed as the Jersey Wakefield. Is a favorite wherever grown North or South, but is in special favor in the South for a first early crop. Pkt., 10c; oz., G0c; lb., $8.00. ALL HEAD (714) A superb strain of market Cabbage, which pro- duces heads or about seven pounds weight. It is rightly named "All Head" as there is nothing much to it hut head. A splendid size for home or market use. Pkt., 10c; oz., 60c; lb., $8.00. STEIN'S EARLY FLAT DUTCH (715) A highly developed strain of early Flat Dutch which grows heads often weighing 35 pounds each. Solid, crisp, uniform and handsome. By far the finest type of Flat Dutch in cultivation. Pkt., 10c; oz., 60c; lb., $8.00. STEIN'S RED DUTCH (715%) The finest strain of red Cabbage we have ever grown. Heads large, solid and a very dark red- Stock scarce. Pkt., 15c; oz., $1.00.
