English: Air Force Staff Sgt. Jonathan Collins, a heavy equipment operator with the 820th Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers (RED HORSE), based at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nev., focuses on tightening a bolt to playground equipment being constructed, June 19, 2011, in the district of Nieuw Amsterdam. This playground is the first in a series of three that will be constructed for the children of Suriname during the exercise. New Horizons is a cooperative humanitarian training exercise between the Suriname government and the United States Southern Command with the goal of helping to improve the quality of life for the people of Suriname. |
