English: The charred remains of the apartment building where three Fort Carson Soldiers alerted the occupants of their peril still stands a week after the fire Nov 7. Staff Sgt. Larry Sanders, non-commissioned officer in charge, criminal law, and Staff Sgt. Angel Sims a court reporter, both assigned to Company A, Division Special Troops Battalion, 4th Infantry Division, and Spc. Justin Janda, Paralegal, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 759th Military Police Battalion, saw the blaze and responded by breaking into the building and waking all of its occupants, likely saving their lives. |
