In 1997 he was nominated as one of the best guitarist in Bukavu by the Mayor Roger Ramazani who had called all musicians to come for a competition because he wanted to start a strong gospel music ministry named CCCGL. Non of the guitarists passed the test and that was Charmant moment to shine after him introduced the idea on how he thought the music could go far by giving few music idea's and from then he was announced on media as the best guitarist in town.

In 2001-2003 he was invited to work with a gospel group (the Sowers group) in Rwanda for their first album 70x7 and then went back to DR. Charmant has gone through many challenges and he believes that giving up can never be a solution in his music journey , his everyday prayers it’s to hold shows around the world that people will come watch him and takes their stress away

He also believes that him having a church background will make him a great music writer where he's dream has always been to preach love to our parents that fail to give love to their children by not respecting children's rights,

Charmant has been a great example to many Congolese musicians around the world that have recorded different music genre as crossover jazz, afro jazz, world class and many more...

As much as he guitar skills has made many around to became big and international musicians he believes his talent must now go as far as beyond Africa because his strength has always been on a live performance

Charmant has always shined on big stages every time he travelled in Europe (Chech Republic-Ostrava, France-Marseille), Morocco-Rabat, Ivory Coast , Zanzibar-Tanzania, Kinshasa-Dr.Congo and because of his skill of playing guitar with his teeth the world behind Charmant wants to watch him over and over again.
