| Description |
English: Site of Charlton Mackrell station. View westward, towards Taunton: ex-GWR London - Penzance main line, i.e. the later direct line avoiding Bristol. Until 10/9/62 a local service was run between Castle Cary and Taunton calling here, but the station was then closed on this date and 22 years later there was no sign of it. |
