Summary[edit]

Description
English: Hatchment of the coat of arms of Charles WIlliam Molyneux, 3rd Earl of Sefton (1796-1855) in the Lady Chapel of St Helen's Church, Sefton Village. Arms: Molyneux of Sefton (azure, a cross moline or) impaling those of Hopwood of Hopwood (paly of six argent and vert). The left side is black, indicating that he has died, while the right is white for his surviving wife. The Molyneux motto "Vivere sat Vincere (To live is conquest enough), is replaced by "Resurgam" (I shall rise again")
