In thepoem called Finqal, Cuthullin was de-feated by Swaran, king of Lochhn(Scattdinavia), and being ashamed tomeet Fingal, retired from the field gloomyand sad. Fingal having utterly defeatedSwaran, invited Cuthullin to the ban-quet, and partially restored his depressedspirits. In the third year of Cormacsreign, Torlah, son of Cantela, rebelled.Cuthullin gained a complete victory overhim at the lake Lego, but was mortallywounded in the pursuit by a randomarrow.
