Description
Eesti: Pildil on näha perekonda mütsik (ceriodaphnia) kuuluva vesikirbu püsimuna. Püsimunad tekkivad kui elutingimused veekogus on halvenemas ( nt tuleb talv), need vajuvad veekogu põhja ja on seal seni kuni elutingimused paranevad. Pildistamisel on kasutatud bresser trino researcher ii mikroskoopi ja peegelduvat valgust.
English: The picture shows a resting egg of a water flea belonging to the genus ceriodaphnia. Restng eggs are formed when living conditions in a body of water are deteriorating (eg winter is coming), they sink to the bottom of the body of water and remain there until living conditions improve. A bresser trino researcher ii microscope and reflected light were used for imaging.
