Summary[edit]
DescriptionCentral Services Depot - September 1994 (geograph 3792230).jpg |
English: Central Services Depot - September 1994 Taken from the footbridge at Bridge End station (since renamed Titanic Quarter), this shows both the former BCDR smithy (at left) and the remodelled BCDR wagon, carriage and paint shops (converted by Northern Ireland Railways' into railcar maintenance facilities 1976). At right, an 80-class set sits in the carriage washing facility while an "Enterprise" dining car (BREL 1970 built No. 547) and an unidentified MV diesel locomotive are at far right. All locations are approximate as this site is now under the M3 motorway/cross-harbour link. |
