Description
Français : Vitrail du Millénaire : La monarchie capétienne a pris racine avec l' avènement de Hugues Capet. Elle est, ici, évoquée par un arbre se développant à travers les trois vitraux.

Le vitrail central, aux dominantes dorées, nous montre s'élançant d'origines obscures une forme diaphane, bleu de France, surmontée d'une couronne. Seuls le monogramme de Hugues Capet et les dates 967-1967 ramènent de manière explicite au thème commémoratif du millénaire. Le bleu, chemin de l'infini où le réel se transforme en imaginaire est la couleur de l'oiseau inaccessible et si proche symbole de la relation entre le ciel et la terre. Il est également la couleur de la Vierge, patronne de la cathédrale de Noyon
Saint Médard et Saint Éloi sont rappelés par leur mitre.
