Description

This photo and those that follow were taken during our second visit to Valparaiso on 30 September.

Valparaiso Cathedral is dedicated to the Virgen of Carmen and is the mother church of the Diocese of Valparaiso. It was built between 1930 and 1950 in the Gothic style on land donated by Joan Ross Edwards. It was restored after the earthquake of 1971 and 1985 .
