Illastrated Catalogue of FloWers, 189?. strong bushes. A deep chrome-yellow. A remarkable Rose, deserving extensive culture. A great Rose for the South, of which we grow thousands each year. 10 cents; two-year-old plants, 25 cents. (See cut, p. 14.) New Rose Henry M. Stanley. This grand new everblooming Rose was raised from Madame Lambert and Countess du Pare, and named in honor of the great African explorer, and recommended as a charming variety of unusual beauty and permanent value. The color is a rare shade of amber rose, deli- cately tinged with apricot yellow towards the center. Reverse of petals clear buff rose. The flowers are of good substance, extra large, finely formed and very full and fragrant. Price, 15 cents each ; two-year-old plants, 40 cents each. Hybrid Tea Rose Meteor, A rich, dark velvety crimson, everblooming Rose ; as fine in color as the best of Hybrid Perpetuals ; the flowers are of good size, very double and perfect in shape, either as buds or when fully opened ; the plant is vigorous and remarkably free flowering. A splendid sort for pot culture, and the best of all the Hybrid Teas as a bedding variety for Summer cut flowers, as it retains its color well even in the hottest weather. 10 cents ; two-year- old plants, 25 cents.
