B. 23. — Cunfessioiiiial, style des xve et xvie siècles. Averbode (Brabaiit,. MOYEN AGE. — RENAISSANCE, ETC. 15 Daprès les renseignements recueillis à labbaye, ce con-fessionnal était placé, tel quil est (sauf la porte), dansléglise détruite par un incendie pendant le xvii^ siècle.La partie supérieure, dans le style du xv* siècle, doitprovenir dun meuble plus ancien que le siège et lesparties latérales. La porte a été ajoutée après coup. B. 24 Jubé en bois de chêne, dont la devanture est ornéede treize statuettes représentant le Christ et lesapôtres (xv^ siècle). 11 provient de léglise de Viane(Flandre orientale). B. 25 Clôture à jour dune chapelle, en bois de chêne richementsculpté. Les chapiteaux et les sculptures des fûts descolonnettes sont tous dun dessin différent. Cette cloi-son, dont le style accuse la fin du xv^ siècle ou lecommencement du xvi% provient de lhôpital militairede Mons, autrefois abbaye du Val des Écoliers. B. 26 Petit calvaire
