Summary[edit]

Description
English: Castellana's caves are some of the longest and biggest caves in Puglia. Their length is about 3400 metres and only 1500 metres are available to tourists. Castellana's caves are rich in concretions such as white stalactites and stalagmites of the White Cave. These concretions formed thanks to karst phenomena. It is an erosion phenomena that is typical of Puglia.
