Description
Français : Casablanca - Marocaines dans leur intérieur, 1942, Casablanca, Maroc. Les femmes en blanc sont vêtues de la Mansouria qui est un vêtement marocain porté par la noblesse, il se caractérise par le port d'un ou de deux Caftans sous la Dfina transparente. La jeune femme en noir est vêtue d'un Caftan marocain originaire du Nord du Maroc. La broderie de ce Caftan se nomme Khanjar.
English: Casablanca - Moroccan women in their interior, 1942, Casablanca, Morocco. The women in white are dressed in the Mansouria which is a Moroccan garment worn by the nobility, it is characterized by the wearing of one or two Caftans under the transparent Dfina. The young woman in black is dressed in a Moroccan Caftan from northern Morocco. The embroidery of this Caftan is called Khanjar.
