This diagram image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.


It is recommended to name the SVG file “Cartoon explaining how to orphan an image.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Description
English: A cartoon attempting to explain in a language-neutral way how to orphan an image, that is remove it from each page in which it is used. I encourage improvements to be made to this! :)
Français : Un dessin qui explique dans un langage neutre la manière de rendre une image orpheline, cela l'élimine de toutes les pages où elle est utilisée! :)
