| Description |
English: Carsegowan Moss WW2 Factory ICI Nobel built an explosives factory here in WW2 producing gunpowder; it closed in 1945-6 but many buildings remain. A branch railway led off the Wigtownshire Railway at Causewayhead into the site; traces of the staff platform can be seen under the tree lower branches. |
